Worth a read
This book is great to learn that the world is not necessarily bad or good, fair or unfair. The world is as we make it and as we see it.
Memories are something which we love looking back but some memories are very disturbing which we don’t want to remember because some kind of haunted event is related to it.
Therefore we call them haunted memories because these incidents leave some kind of fear in ourselves which we unable to overcome our whole life. The same thing happens with the protagonist Joshua in the book. An unfortunate turn of event makes Joshua a total opposite of what he was. His relation with his lover Susan also suffers due to the past traumatic memories and are in caught in an unpleasant phase of their lives.
The book is great it made me realize that we can look at the same event from different points of view. That you have the power to change your feelings and to become happy. . However to the end it is a lovely book worth the read.
Great feel good book, how to have a loving and healed heart..

Do we always have to inspire millions or no-one at all? That is what makes this book interesting.
One action, one situation, and one consequence can shake us from within and change who we are. But, only if we let it. We can let what has happened to us carry the torchlight for our whole life, or we can take the control in our own hands, determine who we want to be and be that person. Joshua has to make a similar choice. Will he remember his belief system, his decision to be a hero in life that was inspired by a story his grandfather told him? Or will he let his boss and other situations pin him down? Let Love Take Over is the story of Joshua, his choices, and its consequences.
The title is relevant to the book with a sweet and simple cover. Love, the most powerful in the world, can only only help Joshua if he lets it take over instead of being scared and lost in his thoughts.
The book is written in a very simple manner and is suitable for beginners and avid readers. Each and every character is playing a strong role, each of them are necessary to the story. The different reactions that the different characters make up the story, representing how our life is not only a sum of our own choices, but also of how we respond to the choices others make around us. The inspiring character arc of the protagonist, the way he evolves, is not just because of himself, but also because of the people - wife, parents, friends, boss etc. - he is surrounded by.
It is not a complicated story and nothing too crazy happens. Joshua doesn’t do something groundbreaking, inspiring millions of people. But isn’t that what our lives look like? Do we always have to inspire millions or no-one at all? That is what makes this book interesting. It has a fast-paced interesting story, and it also shows us how what we think is a useless step is actually an important drop that makes up the whole ocean.
I enjoyed this book a lot, and finished it in one sitting because of how fast-paced and real it was. I did find some jokes and metaphors unnecessary. However, the overall story and the evolutions of the characters made up for it. If you are looking for an extremely simple but engaging story, this is your book!.

This is a small, simple book, which you can read … It shows how some friendships remain the same over the years, while some are changeover trivial incidents…The story shows how our destiny changes when we decide to let go of the shackles that tie us - jealousy, arrogance, vindictive behaviour and so on..

…Writing style of Tomson is simple and reader-friendly, as he helps us visualize the school, work space, home, jose ettan’s tea stall etc, in our mind…Dave is symbolic of any one of us who is caught between the pressure of handling work and family, between wanting to enjoy his work and wanting to break-free of the corporate ladder climbing goal….

Well set in a job and doing better financially was not able to give Dave satisfaction. He was one of those (maybe like us) who always say just next target (maybe project/promotion) and then I will slow down…The gem of the story is the last section which gives inspiration to Dave….
